Hi guys. So, June has white flight feathers which is normal for his mutation. However I noticed the last time he molted that the same black feather on each wing, located directly above the flight feathers, turned white after they grew back in. So my question is, as June gets older, will the white feathers continue to creep up his wings? Or is this a one time thing? Thanks in advance!

I think that was most likely a one-time thing; budgies change the most after their first or "baby moult" (sometimes a series of 2-3 moults over a few months). So for example, a yellow face budgie may change from blue to green as the yellow blends in, but once they do, they won't continue to get more green during each consecutive moult. So I think June has grown in his big boy feathers now :D

Thanks guys! I figured that was the case, but wanted to be sure. I love his all white flights, and was hoping they would stay the same. I have never seen another budgie of his mutation before!😍
