OK, folks - here comes another Budgie Picture video! This one features the extraordinary and unique Crested Budgies bred by Moheb Nabil in Egypt. I fell in love with them from the many photos he posted in his facebook group page, Budgies & English Budgies.
Moheb Nabil chose the music, which reflects his pride in his Egyptian heritage, and the royal/exotic look of his budgies.

The biggest breeder of "crests" here in the UK is probably Steve Smith, you can view loads of crested budgies on his facebook page, just search "crest budgerigar".
Personally they are not for me but they are becoming popular over here on the show bench, we have the Budgerigar Society world show here in Doncaster in November so I've no doubt there will be a few there which may change my mind on crested budgies

Yes. Crested budgies are common here but we don't have any Japanese helicopters due to import restrictions (can't import parrots). So I have resort to drooling over Moheb's birds!

When you say "creepy", are you referring to the budgies, or the music accompanying them? This music is Moheb Nabil's special chosen favorite for his budgies - it is pretty powerful, I'll grant you, and certainly not to everyone's taste, for sure. Whenever I do a film for someone, I always do my best to accommodate their personal taste and vision regarding the subject, if at all possible...
