As my 1000th post is at hand, I have decided to throw an event here in talkbudgieland in celebration. This will not be just a party, but a bird seminar/festival as well. Here is what I have come up with so far:
There will be made to order dining throughout the event, prepared and served to you by world class chefs. If you request it, they can make it.
There will be numerous expert speakers and booths set up for your enjoyment, and education.
Lindsey, owner and CEO of cutelittlebirdies aviary, will be on hand with a booth filled with specimens of her adult, and juvenile English budgies. She will also give a presentation titled " Budgie's...I breed em...you feed em " A very frank, and in depth look at responsibilities bird owners have to their birds. Beneficial for new, and longtime bird owners alike.
There will be a large booth set up for budgie home health care, and illness diagnosing and treating. This booth will feature lots of tips and remedies to help your little friend in times of crisis, when you cant get to the vet immedietly. This booth is not to be missed, and may be the most beneficial thing you will ever do for your little feathered friends. Current booth staffing is handled by Budgekin, animalkaperz, and Jo Ann.
Roland will be on hand with his new and improved "SEAT" method, which features a German music c.d. to be played while you train. The feature song has become a euro smash hit. "sitz es" is a spin off of michael jackson's wildly popular "beat it" and is sung by Greece and talkbudgies very own "fraulein Despoina" "sitz es" when translated to english means "SEAT" it...
Photography of this event and it's ongoing's will be handled by Feline Ferocity productions, whose owner and CEO, Kat, will also give some later presentations....
New York times best selling author, JULIO'S MOM will discuss her #1 selling book..."Life with Julio and Muffin" a serious look at how birds of a different feather can flock together, and do so in harmony. Jill's friend mike will also give a presentation on "facial hair preening by cockatiel, don't knock it till you try it"....men, don't miss that one.....
Dee will be on hand to pass out fresh samples of her famous orange cookies. She will also give a presentation entitled "fur and feather...they can go together" A first hand account of how your birds and rodents can thrive together...
JohnW...a Michigan breeder, will be on hand with his two newest budgies, just purchased on the way here, when he talked a petco manager into a two for ten dollars deal.... John will also give a presentation entitled "How to mold your local big box chain pet store into your partner"...

"Ovens and budgie bread" by Rick "set it and forget it" budgiekeet...
"Photographing your backyard wildlife and birds in flight" by lynbuster and budgiekeet.....
DIY toy building by Kat who shows you how to build a better toy for less. Kat will also follow up with a presentation on what to do when your mailman starts bringing birds home...:laughing1:
Deb will be on hand from faerybee productions to give a serious look inside the "signature development" industry, which will shock and stun many...
She will follow that with her presentation of "Budgaholism, I beat it and you can too"....
There are many more activities planned and I am still open to expert volunteers and suggestions, but hurry....the party starts in one post....
