I've decided to start a training journal.
Cosmo- little girl-
Snow- little girl
Harvey- little boy
Cage 1- Prevue F040- home to Cosmo and Snow
Cage 2- Prevue medium flight cage 26"L x 14"W x 20"H- home to Harvey
So since I've had Cosmo for a little over a month now and my sister had Snow for over a month and both girls are healthy (as far as she and I have observed, think quarantine in different homes), I moved the girls into the big cage together last night. So far so good. There was a little squabbling but since the cage is so huge they have lots of room and neither of them chases the other. They are eating together and both sit on the same perches but opposite sides and make soft little chirpy sounds.
Harvey is still in his own flight cage in another room. He will remain in his own cage as I DO NOT want babies.
Harvey is still completely sketched out from the move but will look at me and cock his head when I talk to him. And he has stopped flipping out when I approach his cage. So I take that as a win and will continue to move slowly.
Snow doesn't like touched but does like to be hand fed millet and talked to.
Cosmo loves being hand fed millet and hops right on my hand. She lets me take her out of the cage to talk to her and then wants to sit on top of it
More and pics to come soon
