Maru is just letting you know that he does not take bribes even in the form of millet , love those feather pants, he is a giant next to Star, I wonder what Star thinks of him. Pip is so sweet doing his wave.
Star probably thinks Maru is just a big pushover she can boss around...cuz he kinda is and she takes full advantage of that when she wants to.
We tried to train last week but because of one of our three avian guests screaming in the quarenteen room because i wasnt paying attention to her the budgies were a bit distracted. Max noped right on away. Guess even diffrent sounds throw him off. Ziggy wasnt really into training. Maru was slow to start targeting but was picking up the pace at the end. Pip was a bit distracted. Star is working on loop still but getting close.
As to our guest, we had our friends Conure and two cockatiels over for a week. This isnt their first visit but they stay in the quarenteen room all the same, with my usual quarenteen rules in place. Still there is only so much I can do, noise wise, in a 2 bedroom apartment.
I love that maru is back in the banner showen off dem feather pants <3
Not so great news. We are back at the emergency vet. Max was acting wierd tonight so I kept an eye on him. He was doing the regurgitating motions but wasnt bringing anything up. Follow that up with floof and not being all that interested in Star or Pip while they were out and I started to worry. After I put the trio to bed i let him out and he just went to his cage top and flooffed and was sleepy, ignoring ziggy doing laps. I put zigs to bed and max eventually followed and was kinda interested in star but then i got him in his bedtime carrier and he started the regurgitation motions. I brought him to the living room with me and he started vomiting. :c he's been going between active and normal to sleepy sick budgie. My vet is perplexed since ziggy is fine and Max isnt on the same level of obsessive feeder as pip and zigs.
Playing the waiting game now. So far my vet is thinking AGY, bacterial infection, or lead poisoning (worst case scenerio). So we will see what the emergency vet says. I doublt its the worst case scenerio, likely bacterial but im not a vet. I'll post when i know more.
