I have a young male, Felix, who seems to be CONSTANTLY regurgitating. He's not all that bonded to me as I've not had him that long. But every time I see him or take him out, he begins head bobbing rather violently and seeds come flying out. It's not vomit at all. I've had my fair share of vomiting budgies, and it is not fun! What causes this constant regurgitation? Should I be worried? In between head bobbing, beak clicking and his seed spitting, it's hard not to be.
Rest in Peace

I honestly couldn't tell you for sure! To me, given that he is young, maybe he is just trying to express love for you but doesn't really know how to do it. I would just accept it, then put him back in his cage after he does it to show that really it isn't pleasing to you when he does it. Maybe as he gets older, he'll grow out of it?
Those are my thoughts, but that is pretty strange! He's lovely though
and Princess Mallorn!
Thank you to Deb for her wonderful Faery magic
I know what you mean, Budget is doing exactly the same thing at present to his favourite toy, I nearly died when I saw the pile of food at the bottom of the cage that had fallen off I am not making a big thing over it. I have cut back on the amount of egg and biscuit mix, as this is what he seems to feed to his toy.
is he also displaying signs of being in condition? Let's hope the find another pastime soon I am distracting with play, and have changed his cage layout and replaced his toys with others.
