Here's a link to the Booster product that I use: BOOSTER-Harrison's Bird Foods

I mix up a kilo of Sammy's seed at a time, put the envelope in a warm water bath for about a minute to soften it and make it spread easily, and then combine them in a large (stainless steel) bowl. Then I put the mix in a tupperware and feed Sammy from that. I think it's really helped him with his defenses. He's been sick much less (knock on wood!) since we started to give it to him.

Good luck. You have lots of great advice above from other TBers

She looked like a grown up in the first photo, but I can now see that it is a kid, my fault Definitely a girl though! She is very beautiful.

How is her diet? I adopted some budgies and 2 or 3 had poop sticking to their vent when I brought them home. I took them to the vet and she thought it was from a diet too high in seed. I gently cleaned the vent like you did and changed their diet. Very limited seed, fresh foods, pellets, and sprouts and it cleared up. However, there can be other reasons waste sticks to the vent. If she is eating a lot of seeds I would make a change.

I mix them pellets with seeds but I`m almost sure that they eat only the seeds.
Starting today I`ll try to give the baby some boiled egg and veggies, hope she will start eating.
To be honest, her mood is really good, she kinda makes a lot of noise, talking with the other girl. I still keep them separately. I have a tree playground and today I opened the door for the baby (i`ll attach some pictures) but still stays on the bottom, she needs some time to climb on the stairs. I feel really bad that her wings are cut. When she gets out the cage she seems happy, inspecting around, arranging the feathers, not scared at all. She`s really brave.
I`ll wait at least one more week until I put them in the big cage. They are both curious about eachother.
About the vent, it`s getting clearer, tho` she ate only seeds, she cleans herself over there. Sometimes poop sticks (like once a day), but she clears it right away. It`s not yellowish anymore.

This is what I`m feeding them at the moment (the baby eats only a mix of simple seeds with orange flavour and pellets), I don`t like vitaminized food too much, I rather boil veggies for them everyday. I also wanna start doing some sprouts, never did, it seems so complicated.

I asked at PETSMART about Harrison`s Booster but they told me to check at PETCO. How often should I use this booster? I`m sure it`s not for everyday use for their entire life. Can I give it to both them?
