Default Are we bonding or is he sick

I have found a vet. I am going
to bring Levi in when I bring Oliver my guinea pig in for his surgery check up as there is an avain vet there. But I want to know if this behaviour can wait till the check up

When I sing to Levi he makes gagging motions with no sound and he isnt bring anything up. He does preen himself very often as well. And he squak screams sometimes and his chirrping is very scares around mee. other then that he eats and drink regularly and his stool is normal he jumps from perches and looks quite alert . Is this gagging thing a quirk, a sense of infection, or a serious thing

Maybe Levi is adjusting his crop. Does he do that motion often and even when you don't come close to talk to him?
If possible, do post a video. If you notice a change in his behaviour and a decrease on appetite and activity, then booking him an appointment would be the best thing to do. Even if you have to do so sooner than you were planning to.

Best of luck with everything!

I have tried to find a video of this for my own education. Do you have a link possibly? From what I HAVE found.. it looks the same as vomiting only nothing comes out? .. Kiwi sometimes looks like she's choking but will hop around normal and do it again. My dad offered her millet and she ate it right up.. he said she wouldn't eat the millet had she been choking which did make me feel better. It is not often, but it scares me every time I see her do it!
