Hey people,

im just checking something out of curiosity... Jay seems to have really warm feet, when i has Ash her feet where about body temperature, but Jays feet feel very warm. but his feet look to be in excellent condition

personally i cant see it being an issue but its something i've not noticed before.

Given the fact it's Summer time and if the temperatures have been high lately, it's only understandable that your Jay would have slightly warmer feet on occasion.

Generally speaking, the cause for concern is more when they have one or both feet cold to the touch.

thanks Aluz, it did cross my mind that the feet ore one of the only parts of the budgie body thats no covered, so it makes sense that its one of ways a budgie cools its self down. but i could be chirping up the wrong perch here

I agree with Aluz, budgie feet tend to be warm, and can even feel hot after they've been flying as blood circulates though the feet.

I've always loved little budgie feet, they're so tiny and warm!
