Default Bug spray

Just out of curiosity, i am having a family friend spray the outside of my house for roaches and some of the kitchen where they wre most found (long sotry short, i had a pig of a roommate living here and leaving his stuff all over the place. Spiders you name it have been in and out of here some leaving bites and others just not being seen again)

My question is how long should i have Lea out of the house before its safe for her? Should i have her boarded for a day or perhaps my parents could have her for a few hours?

How long is too little time to bring her home do you think?

I'd try to find a safe alternative to a commercial insect killer myself.

If it is impossible to find something that will work and you must resort to a commercial insect spray, then I'd keep your budgie out of the house for a minimum of two days and ensure you air the place out well before bringing her back home.
