Haven't been here in quite awhile, my budgies are Sunshine and Sunburst (yellow and white). They are now two years old. Took them to there annual vet visit and they are doing great. The vet fell in love with them. Though she had to put the light out so she could catch them. Sunburst of course was the harder of the two. She had to shine a flashlight real quick to see where she was and in the process the light shined in her eyes, and she said that she has very pretty blue eyes.
They still aren't all that tame still, but they get there flying time out of the cage. I have to take the food and water bowl out and tip there cage on its side and they fly to the perches i put up. They now know where the perches are. We can then get them on our fingers, and transfer them from one hand to the other. My son can also get them on his shoulder.
This last time putting them in there cage was kind of funny. Sunshine went in easily, but Sunburst did NOT want to go in, kept flying away. My son finally got her in the cage.
Hope that all of your budgies are all doing great also.
