DeaconAndRayna is on a distinguished road
Default Two litte white sports on beak

Hello everyone!

It's been a while I know but I'm looking for your advice if you don't mind.

Our silly boy Deacon has developed two small spots towards the end of his beak. He is his usual playful, chatty self so I'm not too concerned.

I've read somewhere that this could be down to a growth spurt maybe? He has just finished moulting.

Attached are a couple of pictures of this handsome devil. you may need to zoom in. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

He's gorgeous

Not to worry, that's just the normal process of the beak "moulting", the old layers peeling off to make way for the new ones.

It will go away eventually

Star has answered your question quickly and accurately!

Deacon is a very handsome fellow!

I'm going to close this thread and we'll hope to see you and Deacon around the forums more often!
