Default Anxiety?

My family and I have been traveling for the month of July and had to leave Luna with a friend. When my family got back they said that she was pulling out feathers but that she didn't start to pull at them until after she got back home. In the pictures that her caretaker sent me she looked happy and healthy. I figured that she would be a little nervous, but I don't know what to do. At the place she was staying at, there was another bird. Could she be missing it? Any information would be appreciated!

Are you certain she is over-preening and the loss of feathers is not just a normal molt?

Are you seeing her actually pull normal feathers out?
Does she have bald spots?

I would recommend you take her to an Avian Vet for a check-up to ensure there is no nutritional deficiency, mites, etc causing the problem.
If the problem is stress related, it is going to take time for you to determine if it is because of the change in environment, missing the other bird or something else causing it.

Was she in the same room with the other bird?
What type of bird was it?
Was she in the same cage?
