Default Lemmyís cere

Hello all.. I established with some help from other members that Lemmy (white) is a girl. Recently her cere has turned brown and crushed over. Iíve never had a girl budgie before so this is new to me. Is this normal? She is about 8 months old I have attached pictures thank you

Lemmy's cere is quite normal.
When a female's cere becomes brown and crusty looking it means she is coming into breeding condition.

If you have a mixed gender pair then you need to be very diligent about preventing breeding.
