Default Pet friendly paint?

My family wants to repaint the house because there are weird blotches on it. I was wondering if there's a specific brand or something and tips of what to do for them.

What are the weird blotches, could it be mold or mildew? Use a paint with no voc's and if it is mold or mildew that will need to be dealt with before painting.

Good point above.. mold? Mildew? It’s important that it’s known what these “blotches” are, and if harmful, it needs to be thoroughly removed before painting.

I believe all the paints now are low VOC, make sure before using. These paints are safe. However, although the residual smells are not harmful, the low VOC paints stink, so be sure to air out a couple days.

They're like stains not mold or mildew. It's a pretty old place so I think it wasn't repainted when we first moved in.. So we want to paint over it
