Did the vet explain why the change in the way the Baytril is being compounded? Are you sure that you are to be giving the whole solution after mixing and not just .01ml of the mixture? I would ask the vet if you can split the dose if in fact you are to give the whole of the mixture. You will probably have to mix it up as directed each time and just give half and discard the other half but I would check with the vet first. You stated that Charlie seems to go into a state of shock, he is not aspirating the medicine is he?

Hey Cody,

I've spoken to the vet since making this post and have had the situation cleared up now. Thanks a lot for your response anyway, very helpful for future notice.
