Default Cutie again!!

Hi,

recap on cutie: she has had respiratory since Feb this year and had several antibiotics and antifungals but to no use, she is head bobbing all the time but particularly while eating and vomiting and wheezing not to mention the occasional difficulty while pooping.

So to help her I am going to start feeding her Harrisons recovery.
Please advise me how to feed a sick bird. She does try to eat on her own but she clumps the pellets and her head bobbing and begging chirps during eating really makes you realise how hard she finds eating pellets.

on the description, for Harrison's recovery, it just says mix it with water and crop feed but I will be spoon-feeding her,
1. how many times should feed her the formula?
2. should I keep her regular pellets inside her cage?
3.can you feed both together like this I don't want to overdo it because then the nutritional value might get lowered. however she might want to continue eating her regular pellets as she is used to that.

Has your vet advised you to feed the Recovery formula, if not I would clear that with the vet before feeding and ask the vet the questions you have asked here, as he/she would be in a better position to advise you based on the condition of Cutie. At one time you had indicated that Aspergillosis was suspected, what ever came of that?

Hi,

We did a chlyamdia test on her poops and it came out negative. Yet, we gave her ornicure under the instructions of the vet for 7 days.

During which she didn't vomit but she hadn't vomited for 3 days before we started the ornicure but the vet said he will give us a new prescription for ornicure and we should continue that as it may be stopping her from vomitting, but he hasn't emailed it to us yet. But I personally don't think it helped Cutie that much, and he told us not give Terabinafine yet cause it might be causing her to vomit.

So under this circumstances do you think I should take her to the greedy vets I had gone to earlier and redo her X-ray?

The vet had advised to try and see if cutie eats the recovery formula.
