Ive recently noticed some blood on my budgies head and i knew he was going thru a molt for the past month but i was wondering if this was a blood feather or something. my next vet appointment is in 2 weeks but i wanted to see if this is urgent enough to take him the the avian hospital or urgent care. the picture is a bit hazy sorry about that.

Are the pin feathers near the cere (flesh nose part of the beak)? Sometimes my boys get too rowdy bonking on objects and break those feathers especially. Happened a couple times to me during molting so far, nothing to worry about as far as my vet has told me when I've called for advice about it. I hope that's all that's wrong with your little one!

Sometimes when they molt if there is a great loss of feathers right above the cere it can look like it may have been bleeding but it is actually just the way it looks, red and irritated, look at the picture of the poor bird in this link, the first picture is before the pin feathers emerged, see how red it is, Miserable Molting he is going through a nasty molt but soon the feathers will be fully grown back again.
