Hi all,
I’ve got Gogo a new cage with a view to getting her a little flock. She’s obviously not in it yet as new comers will be quarantined in it when they arrive.
It’s a good sized cage and in general I’m happy with it but the perches that came with it have to go, they’re all plastic which I just don’t think can be good for budgies?
However, Gogo has plenty of wooden perches that will eventually move in with her so some of the plastic perches may stay short term while I’m quarantining and introducing everyone. The cage came with a modular perch thing which is causing me some concern. In theory it’s a good idea but again it’s plastic and I’m worried about little feet getting trapped in the joins? Has anyone any experience of modular perches? Will they be safe short term?
