Obsessive perch licking/beaking

Pico has developed a strange behavior in the past weeks and I'm concerned.
He's gone from doing it once in a while to spending hours, almost all day, doing this, ignoring food, toys and even us.
I'm at an absolute loss for why he's suddenly doing this. It's like he's licking/beaking at the perches, but he's not chewing or eating them. It's also this specific perch in this spot but I swapped it for another perch and the behavior continued with the new perch.
Perches are the same ones they've been for months, and I clean them with water and vinegar as usual.
As soon as I uncover him in the morning he starts, even ignoring fresh seeds. He sometimes goes to the feeder, grabs a seed, then goes back to the perch without eating it, when before he was a seed junkie eager to scarf down the seed breakfast.
I'm concerned about him losing weight and getting sick at this rate.
He's also stopped eating his chop, he's only interested in leafy greens and will throw any other food to the ground, but that started before the perch licking.
He's also been moulting for ages. He molted for almost 3 months at the beginning of the year, had a month, then started moulting again in May and he's still covered in pin feathers.
Vet prescribed some vitamins I put in the water, around a week or so ago (when I posted the picture thread) and I feel like that's when he started being so obsessed with the perches, but that might be my imagination.
Idk if he is lacking nutrients but if so he'd eat his veggies or chew/eat the perches, not just lick them.

I'd appreciate any advice, I'm very worried about him.

That is odd, if he was mine I think I would try stopping the vitamins for a bit and see if the behavior stops. I could be all wrong but it seems to me that there may be something in his mouth or throat that is irritating to him and the action you see him doing may be his way of trying to resolve whatever he may be feeling. If it does not stop I would want to have the vet take a look in the mouth and throat.

No, it remains a mystery. He has stopped doing it, or at least lessened it to an amount where I don't see him doing it. I guess it was just idk, a phase? Same wehn he was an aggressive little gremlin, he calmed down and now he only bites very occasionally (or to terrorize my auntie) and even asks for forehead kisses.

My attitude at this point is, if it's not something actively harmful, let it be.

Mine is moulting and this is when the behaviour became noticeable. It is stressing him out a little. I thought it was mites but it has been confirmed he is healthy Looking. I went out and ordered new enrichment toys for him. He is a re-home due to being aggressive, he is hand shy/distressed from his first home. But he does love to be talked to and to display his wings with a stretch when you say hi. thanks for answering, I’m just going to try and redirect his behaviour by changing his cage around with new enrichment/foraging things and removing some stuff. :)
